Privacy policy

The Home Care India (“we”, “us”) runs thehomecareindia.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect through the website, why we collect it, and what choices you have. We handle personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to give us through our forms:

• Visit requests — your name, mobile number, preferred visit date and the property you're interested in.
• Property listings from owners — your name, mobile number and details of your flat (area, type, furnishing, expected rent, deposit and any notes).
• Contact messages — your name, mobile number and your message.

If you contact us on WhatsApp or by phone, those conversations are handled by WhatsApp or your phone provider under their own privacy terms.

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) to keep the site running and secure. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

• To call or message you about the property or service you asked about.
• To arrange visits and, if you go ahead, to prepare the rent agreement and police verification.
• To match tenants with suitable homes and owners with suitable tenants.

We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for unrelated marketing.

Who we share it with

• The other side of a rental — when you're seriously interested in a home, we share the details needed to arrange it (for example, a tenant's name with the owner). We tell you before sharing.
• Service providers who run the website for us — hosting (Netlify), our database (Supabase), image hosting (Cloudinary), and maps and location search (MapTiler). They process data only on our behalf.
• Authorities, where the law requires it — for example, tenant police verification.

Content from Google

Our reviews section shows ratings and reviews from our Google Business Profile, and the contact page embeds a Google map. When those load, Google may receive technical information from your browser under the Google Privacy Policy.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as they're useful for helping you, and for up to two years after our last contact, unless the law requires longer (for example, records linked to a rent agreement). You can ask us to delete them sooner.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. To do so, contact us using the details below — we'll respond within 30 days.

Security

Data is stored with reputable providers, sent over encrypted connections, and only accessible to our team.
